Revitalize – Inspire with new life and vitality:
Last week we told you about a small group of men studying the various ways we can revitalize the worship of the Lord.
Surely none could say about any worship period it is as good as he needs to be. Personally we know when our worship could and should be “more.”
We can understand there are a great many difficulties and distractions to overcome anytime we engage in worship of our Lord. Both within the assembly and without we are bombarded with concerns and thoughts that seek to draw our attention away from showing the Worth of God.
Let me suggest that worshipping God is not like riding a bicycle. Worship is not something we can do without thinking about it. Mt 15:8 ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me”
Allow me also to say true worship of God is engaging with God as He has prescribed. Mt 15:9 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'”
Certainly, we should, indeed we must Revitalize our worship of the only true and living God every day. As men commissioned with leading the various acts of worship we must seek to be the best we can be in helping all to realize the very best worship experience they can be.
